Adventure seekers can challenge themselves with our Class III/IV Whitewater Rafting Trips, while others might want to grab a kayak and spend the day floating on the river. From the wild to the mild we can provide the outdoor adventure you’re looking for.

Guided Canoe/Kayaking Trips

We offer lake or river trips at a variety of locations. Seasonal

Lake Trips

Take a relaxing canoe or kayak tour of the beautiful 243-acre Lake Habeeb near Cumberland, MD (Rocky Gap State Park). You will learn the basics of paddling and then try out your skills on this
very scenic flat water lake. This is a great family adventure for beginners or experienced canoe &
kayakers. All equipment, instruction and guide service included.

River Trips

Join our guides for a paddle along the river. Enjoy some small riffles and wildlife on this river adventure.
All equipment and transportation is provided. Tours can be on the Potomac River or South Branch Potomac. Seasonal May – September

We have Old Town canoes and kayaks. Rent them for a day or a weekend.

48 Hour Advance reservations required. Seasonal.

Guided Fly Fishing

Find out why fly-fishing is all the rage! Fly-fishing is one of the fastest growing sports, try your hand at it and find out why. All instruction, equipment and fishing stories included. Located approx. a 30 minute drive from Omni Bedford Springs at Yellow Creek. Any angler over the age of 16 will be required to have a Fishing License with a trout permit (PA Fishing license for Omni Bedford Springs trips).

Guided Bass Fishing

Try your hand at bass fishing with a professional bass fishing guide on a bass boat. Instruction, equipment and technique is all included in this half day trip.

Whitewater Rafting (Youghiogheny River)

Go to: Middle Yough: Class I/II | Lower Yough: Class III/IV | Upper Yough: Class V
Enjoy an exhilarating thrill ride down the Upper Youghiogheny, world renowned for its tight and technical passages featuring a continuous white water and a world class drop of over 115 feet per mile or try a little less intimidating rafting trip with class III – IV rapids on the Lower Yough. If they both seem a little more than you’re looking for then maybe a family float trip is more to your liking on the Middle Yough. No matter what your level of adventure we have the trip for you!

Class I-II Rafting (Family Float Trip)

This trip includes a deli lunch, suggested minimum age of 4, 3-5 hours long, guide escorted unless upgrade to guide in raft.

Class III-IV Rafting (Lower Yough)

The Lower Yough’s Class III rapids will challenge and excite, but not intimidate even the novice rafter. This trip includes a deli lunch, suggested minimum age of 12, 2-6 hours long, Guide escorted or fully guided trips are available.

Guide Escorted Trips (no guide in your raft)
Our experienced guides escort each rafting tour with a guide-to-guest ratio determined by State Park regulations. Guides will paddle along instructing, coaching, and assisting you as you steer your way down the scenic river.
Fully Guided (guide in your raft)
Relax with the knowledge of having a guide in your raft. This option is perfect for first time rafters, families, and youth groups. You will be part of the larger group and enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow explorers. Leave the hassles behind as your guide coaches you, every paddle stroke of the way.

Class V Rafting

Some call this section of the Youghiogheny River the ULTIMATE CHALLENGE. With the Miracle Mile dropping off over 115 feet per mile, you will be a part of the most exhilarating rafting experience available anywhere! Previous rafting experience is strongly recommended. This trip includes a hot lunch, 3-7 hours, minimum age of 16, and guide in raft. Check-ins: The Upper Yough can only be run on dam release. Be sure to check the release dates listed here: TBD
