GAP Trail Fully Guided Meyersdale, Pa. to Cumberland, MD

Bicycling through a scenic trail is a sneak attack in fulfilling daily exercise requirements. Enjoy a 32-mile bike ride with Get Out & Play! Outfitters. This unique tour offers an opportunity to experience the Great Allegheny Passage, which was named a Best Fall Trip in National Geographic Adventure Magazine. The Pamper Pedal Bicycle Tour begins in Cumberland, Md., where friendly guides will pick you up and shuttle you to Meyersdale, Pa. From there, you’ll trek up to the Eastern Continental Divide and begin a downhill journey through the Big Savage Tunnel, Borden Tunnel and across the Mason-Dixon Line through Frostburg, Md., and finally concluding back in Cumberland. There are plenty of incredible photo opportunities along the way, as well as a provided gourmet deli lunch, water and snacks. The trail, built mainly on abandoned rail beds, has a packed crushed limestone surface to ensure a smooth ride. Book early – limited spaces available. “Paddlin for Paws” Stand Up Paddleboard Race

The May 11th, 2013 event at Deep Creek Lake is a grassroots Stand Up Paddleboard race event to promote SUP racing to the Deep Creek Lake area and to bring awareness to the SUP community the great opportunities to enjoy paddleboarding in the mountains of Western Maryland on Deep Creek Lake and other nearby lakes. This event will also donate a portion of the race entry fee to HART for Animals charity for pets located in the Mc Henry area.
